PINK PILATES

    10 ½ hr private sessions prior to joining

Founded by physiotherapist Lou James, in Auckland, New Zealand, Pink Pilates is specially designed to support women, physically and emotionally, throughout all stages of breast cancer.

Physiotherapist Susan Cottrell and exercise physiologist Lisa Tasker offer personalised programs for women recovering from breast cancer treatment and surgery, at all levels of fitness.

Our focus is to replenish you energy and strength, and boost your spirit and confidence.

Pink Pilates can help breast cancer sufferers to:
>  Regain strength and mobility
>  Re-strengthen trunk muscles and improve posture
>  Improve sleep and alleviate fatigue
>  Enhance physical and mental well-being
>  Ease muscular tension and side effects from
    treatment
>  Limit weight gain from chemotherapy
>  Boost the immune system.

The Pink Pilates program consists of 10 sessions, which address the individual needs of each participant on the day. Sessions involve a combination of Clinical Pilates, manual Physiotherapy, stretching, breathing techniques and personalised home exercise programs.
